A Message From Abel: My name is Abel Trujillo, and I am thrilled to join Warrior Wellness Group LLC as a Counseling Intern. My passion for mental health and supporting others has been a driving force in my life. I believe in the power of empathy, active listening, and tailored interventions to help individuals navigate their unique challenges. As an intern, I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. Together, we will work on building resilience and achieving personal growth.

 

A Bit About Me Personally: Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and exploring new hobbies. I love playing sports, listening to music, and cherishing moments with family and friends. Being originally from Cuba and now living in Alabama, I value the blend of cultures and the rich experiences they bring.

 

About Abel: Abel Trujillo is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude. Abel has extensive experience in patient support, having volunteered at Alabama Head and Neck, where he provided emotional support and psychoeducation. He also has a strong background in business development and marketing. Abel is bilingual, with proficiency in both English and Spanish, enhancing his ability to connect with a diverse range of clients. Additionally, his studies in theology at Instituto De Ciencias Religiosas Felix Varela in Havana, Cuba, enrich his understanding of diverse cultural and spiritual perspectives, allowing him to offer a more holistic approach to counseling.
